Delivering company growth in the midst of economic headwinds has been a common focal point of conversations at CFO Alliance roundtables in 2013. Given the current state of capital markets, M&A may appear to be the more attractive growth channel for most companies. If only it were that easy. The obstacles in identifying and successfully integrating the right companies to achieve growth objectives can’t be overlooked despite the lure of what many companies view as cheap money.

Join us for an interactive discussion focused on how CFOs are embracing the challenges in taking on roles ranging from Chief Revenue Officer to Chief Innovation Officer to drive company growth from top to bottom. Discover and share your experiences with fellow CFOs regarding how to ensure that critical initiatives are adequately resourced, clearly aligned to deliver financial results, and that a disciplined approach exists for measuring results throughout the organization.

Participants will understand the steps needed to undertake in order to increase both value creation and value preservation. Your take away will be a "Value Creation Score Card" that you can use to identify and execute any growth plan.

B. Andrew Schmucker

Andrew Schmucker is a Founder and serves as the Managing Partner of Delancey Street Partners. Mr. Schmucker is responsible for firm leadership, in addition to his responsibilities for client management and transaction execution.

Prior to founding Delancey Street, Mr. Schmucker served as Head of Investment Banking at Janney Montgomery Scott. In addition, he was responsible for founding and leading Janney’s M&A and Financial Sponsors Coverage effort. Prior to Janney, Mr. Schmucker served as Managing Director at Stifel Nicolaus / Legg Mason where he was founder of the Financial Sponsors Coverage effort, Group Head and Founder of the Strategic Advisory Group, coordinated the firm’s M&A practice and served on the Investment Banking management committee. Mr. Schmucker began his career at Lehman Brothers and also worked at The Middle Market Group where he focused on middle market mergers and acquisitions. Throughout his 25 year career, Mr. Schmucker and the teams he has led have advised on more than 250 transactions.

Mr. Schmucker serves as a Trustee of Spruce Hill Christian School / City Center Academy, a K through 12 college preparatory school for underprivledged families in Philadelphia.
